Cabbage Pakora is really easy to make and so good to taste. Most of the people i know, do not like cabbage, but this one is a sure hit with everyone.

Cabbage Pakora is really easy to make and so good to taste. Most of the people i know, do not like cabbage, but this one is a sure hit with everyone. This recipe requires very few and handy ingredients. Next time, you have guests over your place, you must try. There are many variations in cabbage Pakora , like some of you might like the coriander leaves, but i think it just overpowers my entire effort of mixing other ingredients. Baigan Ka Bharta Anyway, you can try this. I also add a bit of cheese to make it more interesting and also i make this fritters only with rice flour, if rice flour is not readily available with you, you can make with Besan/ gram Flour or mix of both in equal proportion. Do let me know if you liked my variation of Cabbage Pakora :)

Ingredients
1 cup: Cabbage - chopped or shredded
1: Carrot medium chopped
2-3: Green Chili- Finely Chopped
4 tbsp: Rice Flour
As per taste: Salt
1tsp: Garam Masala powder
1 tsp: Red Chili Powder
1 tsp: Turmeric Powder
As needed to make the batter: Water
1 tbsp: Cheddar Cheese Grated (Optional)
1: Onion Medium- Finely Chopped
2 cups: Oil for frying

Directions
1. In a bowl, take the shredded cabbage, chopped carrot , onion and green chili.
2. Now, add the Rice flour.
3. Add the spices, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt.
4. Mix them well.
5. Add the grated cheese and again mix them nicely.
6. The batter should not be too runny or thin in consistency.It should be of medium consistency and should be of medium thick consistency.
7. Now, the batter is ready. Heat the oil in a deep bottomed pan/ Kadhai and add the oil.
8. Now, check the oil, if its hot enough by dropping a small bowl.
9. Then you fry in batches, fry till golden and crisp.
10. Take them out in a plate covered with a tissue paper, so that it soaks the extra oil.
11. Your cabbage fritters are ready to be served. It can be had with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.
12. Serve it hot or warm.
