Was mich beim Asus ZenBook Flip richtig genervt hat, sind die Tasten an der Seite. Aufwecken über die Tastatur klappt nicht. Deswegen musste ich immer die Einschalttaste drücken, die aber an der nach unten zeigenden Seite des Randes sitzt und nicht gerade gut zu erreichen ist. Im Tablet-Modus ist sie dagegen gut zu erreichen. Daneben befindet sich eine Lautstärke-Taste, die für Tablet- und Zelt-Modus gedacht ist. In ihnen ist sie richtig herum. Verwendet Ihr das ZenBook dagegen im Laptop-Modus, sitzt sie falsch herum, sodass sich hier die Lautstärkeregelung über die Tastatur empfehlt. Zum Schluss noch ein nebensächliches Detail: Ladet Ihr das Notebook auf, könnt Ihr das nicht dort sehen, wo das Ladekabel im Gehäuse steckt. Denn irgendwie kam man bei Asus auf die wenig sinnvolle Idee, die Lade-Leuchte genau auf der anderen Seite anzubringen.

Je nach Ausstattung liegt die unverbindliche Preisempfehlung von Asus für das ZenBook Flip zwischen 799 und 1199 Euro.Das Asus ZenBook Flip ist als Convertible eine Mischung aus verschiedenen Geräten. Somit bleibt es am Ende...ein Kompromiss. Die Anschaffung lohnt sich nur, wenn man es nicht nur als Notebook einsetzen will. Das sollte zwar das häufigste Anwendungsszenario sein, aber da käme man angesichts der Leistung auch günstiger davon. Eine schöne Zugabe ist der Zelt-Modus, mit dem sich das ZenBook Flip mehr als herkömmliche Laptops für Video-Streaming empfiehlt. Auch gegen die gelegentliche Verwendung als Tablet spricht nichts. Aber man sollte sich darüber im Klaren sein, dass es schlicht kein lupenreines Tablet ist.

Für gewöhnlich sind Samsungs Top-Smartphones nicht in allen Regionen in den gleichen Farben erhältlich. Schon das Galaxy Note 7 und später auch das Galaxy S7 Edge sind in dem helleren Blauton "Coral Blue" erschienen. Allerdings bietet Samsung diese Varianten nicht in Deutschland an. Hierzulande können die Geräte in "Coral Blue" nur via Import erworben werden.Sollte Samsung also tatsächlich planen, das Galaxy Note 8 in "Deep Blue" anzubieten, ist noch nicht klar, ob es hierzulande überhaupt in dieser Farbe in den Handel kommt. Schon bald wissen wir vermutlich mehr: Samsung hat zu einem Unpacked-Event am 23. August 2017 eingeladen, auf dem das Note 8 der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert wird. In Deutschland könnte das Phablet aber erst ab Oktober 2017 erhältlich sein.
