The new version lets users send Package Central's email notifications via Microsoft Exchange SMTP servers. This ability is especially useful in corporate environments where email servers are set up to not allow authentication over a plaintext connection. The update also improves the reliability of email transfer, addresses a crash that could be caused by a missing SMTP password, and introduces several UI improvements and bug fixes.
