[Seattle, Washington, February 2020]. This October the International Gospel Music Summit is coming to America. It is an exciting new vision to support independent artists and musicians and connect them to the industry on another side of the world, creating a much-needed platform internationally. Gospel Artists, Groups and Choirs from the UK and other countries, will be traveling to the USA to participate in this event.

UK Meets USA Gospel Explosion Summit launched in London in October 2019, 32 artists took part, 20 travelled from the USA. This years’ event is a follow on from the London GES.

The event this year spans two days, day one is focused on education through workshops and industry panels, day two is the musical Summit where all artists will have the opportunity to perform on the same stage. This is a platform for connections with an international audience and industry. As part of the Artists participation, they will receive over seven months of international promotions as well as interviews being scheduled for them for even more visibility.

About the Executive Producer

Carol Crawford, CEO of Back2BackPR International, has been a presence in the Gospel Music Industry since 1989. Launching a Gospel Music Club in London, England that provided a platform for new and emerging artists as well as local gospel DJ’s.

Carol’s USA career began at Trinity Records a division of Hendrix Records Seattle, where she assisted with developing the music careers of the labels’ gospel artists. She is a Leader with the Alliance of Gospel Music Professionals of the GMWA and is also active as a Publicist.

For almost 30 years, I have had a passion for gospel music. Not only consuming it, but also connecting the various aspects of the music industry on both sides of the water. After extensive travels to the US and learning who the industry players are, I now have the privilege of living there, where I get the opportunity to be around many artists and industry professionals. One common thread throughout conversations with artists is that they want to go to the UK, but they have no connections there.

This event will be an important connector for artists around the world as it provides an international platform for artists that may not be as well known. The Summit is a creative platform for collaboration, networking and connecting to the industry as well as providing the much sought-after international experience.
