Porthtowan, Cornwall – After working hard for nearly a year to perfect a collection, which consists of nine optical designs, Catalyst Eyewear (www.catalysteyewear.com ) is excited to announce the availability of their new Tadas Kuzmarskis Designer Collection. Produced by product designer Tadas Kuzmarskis, the classical design of this eyewear blends perfectly with the beauty of exotic hardwoods.

Customers will find a wide array of designs - from bold and striking “Nico” to formal and versatile “Clarke” with all of the frames made from hand selected, responsibly sourced hardwoods. Every pair is precision engineered, made to order and one of a kind, taking approximately 5 days to finish.

Catalyst works with one of the leading optical labs in the country so every frame may be custom glazed and used with RX lenses in order to cater to clients’ needs. Everything is done in-house, starting with design and prototyping, all the way to advance manufacturing. And every frame is designed and manufactured here in the little Cornish village where Catalyst built their workshop.

Being in Cornwall enables Catalyst to ensure superb quality and bespoke customer service.  Catalyst offers a wide selection of woods from Teak, Afromosia, and American Oak to the striking look of Birch plywood. And the frames don't have to be all one wood.  For instance, customers can choose an Oak front frame and Teak temple stems. With the number of variations available, and because wood is a natural material, no two pairs will ever be exactly alike so customers will truly get bespoke made to order pieces of eyewear.

Catalyst Eyewear was established in Cornwall in February 2014 and has just officially launched their new website www.catalysteyewear.com this December 2014.
