Fleming Gulf's inaugural Africa Cyber Security Summit that will take place on the 17th and 18th of November, 2015 in Johannesburg, South Africa; aims to address issues relevant to cyber security at both; an industrial as well as national level.
 
4 June, 2015: In an age of electronic communication and data exchange that integrates a wide spectrum of operations, the need to develop stringent cyber security frameworks as well as a comprehensive cyber security response mechanism is increasingly occupying government’s agendas across the African continent. A recent study stated that the number of targeted cyber attacks have increased by 42% from the previous year and losses from cybercrime in South Africa alone summed up to USD 500 million. While the African union aims to increase access to broadband internet in the region, vulnerabilities in networks has led to cyber crimes leaping to new heights, making it only ration to act now rather than later.

Fleming Gulf's inaugural Africa Cyber Security Summit that will take place on the 17th and 18th of November, 2015 in Johannesburg, South Africa; aims to address issues relevant to cyber security at both; an industrial as well as national level.
