Loosen the brake shoe adjusting nut so that the brake shoe can contact the center of the rim in parallel, and the side surface should be aligned with the rim, and then tighten the brake shoe adjusting nut.

Turn the elastic rope nut, remove the hoisting cable from the bridge, adjust the distance between the brake skin and the rim to about 2-3mm, and adjust the hoisting cable to a suitable length (it is advisable that the cable does not touch the mud plate in the non-braking state), and then tighten the cable nut tightly. Loosen the bridge nut, hang the brake rope on the bridge, adjust the brake rope to a suitable length, and tighten the bridge nut.

In the non-braking state, if the brake shoe cannot be reset and still contacts the rim, loosen the connecting bolt properly or add some lubricating oil here, so that the torsion spring can rotate freely. Oil is prohibited at rim friction.

Adjust the front wheel drum brake, and adjust the adjusting bolt to minimize the gap between the brake disc and the brake skin without interference.
