Youngstown, OH – April 25, 2025 – Taylor-Winfield Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with a major global Tier 1 supplier to co-develop capacitor discharge welding machines tailored for EV battery and microcomponent manufacturing.
The collaboration will focus on creating modular, high-speed CD welding units capable of delivering precise, low-heat welds ideal for lightweight and heat-sensitive materials—a must-have for electric vehicle production.
