For more than two decades, the family-owned business has been providing bullion and coins at the best possible prices. One of their latest additions is the 2017 Australian Lunar Rooster 1kg Silver Coin.

[Birmingham, 2/11/2016] – Atkinsons Bullion, a Birmingham-based coin and bullion business, recently rolled out new arrivals for their range of silver coins. This includes the 2017 Australian Lunar Rooster 1kg silver coin.

The Year of the Rooster in Silver

This commemorative 1kg silver coin celebrates the Year of the Rooster, which will come in 2017. It features a stylised Chinese scene with a rooster standing in the middle. Minted and supplied by The Perth Mint in Australia, each coin is 999.9 fine silver, and finished to bullion standard. These coins are 100.60mm in diameter and 14.60mm thick, and each comes in its own protective capsule.

The coin also has the Chinese character for ‘rooster’, the ‘Year of the Rooster’ inscription and The Perth Mint’s mintmark: ‘P’. The opposite of the coin features Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination ($30), fineness, the weight and the year-date.

Delivery Process

Each coin currently sells for £549.76 excluding VAT. The standard VAT rate for silver is 20%. For all UK purchases, this product is eligible for free fully insured delivery.

The company understands the importance of security and discretion, which is why they do everything to minimise the chance of anyone guessing the contents of the parcels they send out. The delivery process is quick and easy, as long as the customer has settled the account and the item they purchased is still in stock.

For their deliveries, the company uses UPS and Royal Mail. Most of the time, they use the latter for purchases under £180 and these will arrive within 1 to 5 working days.

They use UPS for bulk silver orders and the items arrive within 1 to 2 days after dispatch, except for outlying areas of the UK.
