Spring 2024 Vocational Nursing Program Class Start Announced at Texas Health School

Houston, TX – Texas Health School is excited to announce the start of its Spring 2024 Vocational Nursing Program. Classes will begin on January 29, 2024. This program aims to help current Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) transform their careers and become Registered Nurses. Texas Health School believes that nursing is not just a job, it's a calling.

The program is known as the LVN-to-ADN, which stands for Licensed Vocational Nursing to Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. It is a 64-week transitional pre-licensure program divided into eight, 8-week sessions. THS understands that your time is valuable, so they’ve developed a program that is both efficient and effective. Upon successful completion, participants will earn an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree and will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN®) for licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.

To help students get started, there are several important deadlines to note. Information sessions will be held every Wednesday at 3:30 PM for those interested in learning more about the program. TEAS Testing is scheduled for every other Friday; call for specific dates. The last date to take the TEAS is January 15, 2024. The registration deadline is January 16, 2024, and the selection interview must be completed by January 19, 2024. Last but not least, orientation will be held on January 26, 2024, from 9 AM to 4 PM, just a few days before the class officially begins.
