The world moves considerably faster than it did decades ago. Not literally faster of course, but certainly faster-paced for most people. As a consequence, our lives appear to go considerably faster as well. Hectic schedules and chaotic lifestyles demand more energy from our bodies, and often reduce the period of time we must sleep. This is the reason so many people have started to rely on energy drinks to help them get through the day. Popular brands of these beverages are consumed numerous times each day across America, Europe, Asia, and just about everywhere else around the world.

The use figures of energy drinks are actually very surprising. One kind of energy drink, called "5 Hour Energy" is consumed more than three million times each day within America alone. First, let us understand the human reliance on caffeine is nothing new. It's not a recent happenings or fad that has only been found to fit the fast-paced lifestyle. Truly, the caffeine that's found in these energy drinks is exactly the same as the caffeine that you will find in an average cup of coffee - except at higher levels. Not forgetting that tea and carbonated soda beverages also contain this addictive ingredient.

The truth is, because these days we feel harried and rushed, we tend to reach for a caffeinated drink sooner than we used to. When we can't go another step, and feel like we are entirely spent, we reach for a caffeinated drink to give that abrupt increase of energy to us. To be sure, this is not the healthiest choice we can make, when faced with flagging energy and strength but it's frequently the fastest solution to the difficulty.

It is often estimated the typical amount of sleep that adults get within the USA has recently decreased from 8 hours per night to only 6 1/2 hours per This is an astonishing drop and likely accounts for the lack of energy many people experience. Energy drinks help us fill this gap when our energy is not high. It is usually enough to get us through the day even though the increase that we feel from these beverages is not lasting. And for many people, it is not more difficult to have a caffeine-laced drink than attempt to alter our sleep schedules to contain sleep each night. more 1 1/2 hours or

Other than drinking caffeinated beverages, or getting more sleep each night, there's one health-wise thing you can do to increase your energy. Start drinking just as much water as possible and forgo the "energy drinks." Your body craves water, and works at an amount that is higher when fully hydrated. You will discover that when you start drinking more water each day, you feel more alert, will see an increase in your energy level, and have raised stamina to enable you to get through the day. Water will help increase your energy level the way that is natural, and you will not confront the danger of becoming addicted to caffeine.
