Waterloo, Canada, March 23, 2016 – The Kostecki Real Estate Group - organizers of the recently held free ‘family day’ skating for hunger, is pleased and excited to announce today that their enviable event which took place some days ago, was indeed a big success.

Family day is a special holiday that takes place throughout the province of Ontario, Canada, amongst others. It is an exceptional day that is dedicated towards celebrating the significance of families and family life to people and their communities.

Reports indicate that one (1) in every twenty (20) families in Waterloo Region struggle with hunger, and it was because of this that Kostecki put this free ‘family day skate for hunger’ together.

Held at ‘The Kitchener Aud - Dom Cardillo Arena,’ on Monday February 15, 2016 (Family Day), between the hours of 10:30am - 12:30pm, hundreds of people attended this fun-filled event and also donated generously towards it.

Renowned as a real estate company that provides great service and exceptional results, Kostecki made sure there was enough hot chocolate and refreshments for everyone. A large number of the attendees also went home with some awesome prizes courtesy of the event’s sponsors.

Peter Kostecki, the owner of this community-minded company said; “We are extremely delighted with the success of our first annual ‘Free Family Day Skate for Hunger’ program. We want to thank everyone that participated and with over 500 people in attendance we consider it a huge success.”

“Everyone had a great time skating and enjoyed all other highlights of the event. It is worth noting that several hundred pounds of food were collected through this event, and donated to the Food Bank of Waterloo Region.”
