T.West from South Africa, Gauteng released his debut mixtape on the 23rd of March 2018 titled Soulful Thoughts. The project is about how a bad breakup can make you insecure even if you meet the one for you.

The project comes out with a digital booklet if you purchase it on iTunes. It includes lyrics and reasons behind the tracklist. It breaks down the project into it's simplest form which makes it even more intriguing because it shows us that he didn't just record and put out the music.

Songs like From Jozi to Pretoria & I'm In Love with a Stranger which features Miss Italia of North America, Theresa Longo. They signify his happiness and the trust he gave to a girl named Pearl. While songs like W.T.M. & I Can't Love signify a heartless side of T.West.

Rumor has it that he already shot some videos from the tape, but he's still keeping it on the low. Prior to this, T.West gave us a project titled It's About Time: The Return. He shot music videos for All Day & Friend Zone and became the first upcoming South African musician to reach 100,000 views on VEVO without radio airplay and television.

Since then, he has grown drastically. You can hear his improvement on Soulful Thoughts even his beat selection gets better with time. Soulful Thoughts doesn't have upbeat music, it's all chilled until the end.

The project only features two American vocalists, Breana M & Theresa Longo. Beat production by Young Taylor, ELEVATED, Aamon, J-Correa & F-Valley. All songs mixed & mastered by Tweested Tweezy. It it a well combined project because it gives a different vibe especially for a Hip-Hop/Rap artist.
