A preferred Brazilian sweet that's named after Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes who was a well-known Air Force commander in the forties. These depend on the condensed milk and chocolate combination so beloved of many South American sweets.
1. Mix the chocolate and condensed milk inside a double boiler or heavy saucepan. Cook over low heat. Add the butter and stir constantly.
2. Stir continuously for two to three minutes.
3. Pour the mixture onto a plate and permit to cool. When it is actually cool to the touch, form compact balls along with your hands. Grease your hands slightly to produce the rolling approach easier.
4. Roll the balls within the chocolate sprinkles.
5. Location every single ball into a smaller candy case. Or, just leave them as they may be.
6. Serve. These are excellent with afternoon tea or supper. They may be fantastic coffee and tea accompaniments.
