Dubai, UAE: The International Congress in Aesthetics, Anti-Ageing Medicine & Medical Spa (ICAAM) Middle East is in its 7th year and boasts a strong CME-accredited conference agenda for aesthetic professionals.

Dr Sheldon V. Pollack is this year's Keynote Speaker at ICAAM's two-day Aesthetic Dermatology Conference taking place on 5-6 December 2014 at the Conrad Dubai Hotel in the United Arab Emirates. The topics he will discuss include developing a concept of beauty, rheological observations regarding various HA fillers, and the biologic basis of non-surgical skin tightening.

Dr Pollack is the President of the Dermatologic & Aesthetic Surgery International League (DASIL) and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto, as well as Medical Director of Toronto Cosmetic Skin Surgery Centre in Canada.

Dr Pollack was one of the first physicians in North America to perform dermal filling (with injectable collagen) in 1981. He has published more than 75 medical articles, a handbook, Electrosurgery of the Skin, and a textbook; Illustrated Atlas of Cutaneous Surgery. Dr Pollack has served as the President of the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Vice President of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and Founding President of the Canadian Society for Dermatologic Surgery .
