Twinwood Events is a well-known UK event organiser with a growing popularity among the public, and especially for their famous vintage music and dance festival which is staged every year during an August weekend.

At this show the emphasis is on fun as the clock is turned back to a time when rock and roll a la Elvis Presley, the crooners and others drew the crowds, and when big band music and dance styles such as swing were the most popular.

“Interest is picking up, and we have indeed already sold a number of tickets for the popular swing and dance events at next year’s show. 2018 proved to us that tickets sell out way before the weekend. Depending one’s preferences there are various events to attend, and a great choice of activities to take you back in time in true retro style. Bands have already been booked and the popular Paul Claydon, 1940’s Swing DJ will be in attendance on the weekend, as will be the Electric Swing Circus and Swing Noir, to name only a few of the acts.

Of course there are so many other forms of entertainment, and one of the great features of this festival remains the ease with which everybody moves from one activity to the next, and the safe surrounds for families with kids.

Twinwood Events are based in Clapham Bedford from where we organise various events every year, the most important one being the well-known Twinwood Festival which is steeped in history going back to the days of the famous Glenn Miller and his Orchestra who performed all over the world.
