Cryogenic valves are kept in closed positions to keep the cryogenic gases secure. These valves are designed to react to high pressures which push the valve to open which allows the flow of liquid or gases the flow would continue until there is a decrease in pressure then it will swing back and become sealed to prevent any leaking.
