Diese Broschüre liefert auch einige Hinweise auf die Funktionen der neuen Dual-Kamera. Sie soll beispielweise Anwendern erlauben die Schärfe bei der Aufnahme im Nachhinein zu verändern. Dabei verschwinden andere Bereiche in der Unschärfe (Bokeheffekt).Über eine ähnliche Funktion verfügen auch andere Topmodelle - wie das Nokia Lumia 925 mit Refocus-App, das Sony Xperia Z2 und das Samsung Galaxy S5.Außerdem soll die Doppel-Kamera auch 3D-Effekte erlauben, wobei nicht näher ausgeführt wird, welche 3D-Effekte damit realisierbar sind. HTC hatte vor drei Jahren bereits mit dem Evo 3D ein Smartphone im Programm, das mit einer 3D-Kamera ausgestattet war. So richtig überzeugen konnte die 3D-Aufnahmetechnik im HTC-Smartphone damals jedoch nicht.HTC hat jetzt das dritte Promo-Video für sein neues Topmodell One online gestellt. Thema dieses Clips ist die Kamera mit dem Ultrapixel-Sensor. Der Ultrapixel-Chip soll auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen gute Bilder machen.

Details der neuen Dual-Sensor-Hauptkamera liefert der Clip jedoch nicht. Wie bei den früheren Clips wird das neue One nur verpixelt gezeigt. Gerüchten zufolge besitzt die Hauptkamera des neuen HTC-Topmodells zwei Bildsensoren mit Ultrapixel-Technologie und zwei LED-Blitze. Die Frontkamera des neuen One soll mit einem 5-Megapixel-Chip ausgestattet sein.Die Gerüchtequelle Evleaks hat jetzt Fotos eines Flipcovers für das neue HTC One per Twitter veröffentlicht. Die Hülle hat ein Lochmuster auf seiner Frontseite, durch die Angaben auf dem Bildschirm zu erkennen sind. Details zu den Flip Covers, die auf den Bildern in den Farben Blau, Grün und Rot zu sehen sind, gibt es nicht.Am 25. März präsentiert HTC offiziell den Nachfolger des HTC One mit dem Codenamen M8. Nachdem bereits viele technische Daten der HTC-Neuheit durchgesickert sind, tauchen jetzt immer wieder Bilder des neuen Modells auf.
