At the time of last year's crossover players could visit an inspired Reef-Top spot in The Yard. In the event of completing challenges players could unlock exclusive gear inspired by the show. There were also new modes for the game which included The Flying Dutchman's Ghostly Grab, Sandy's Rocket Arm Rally as well as The Goo Lagoon Bowl. It's a safe bet this year's promotion will offer something similar, but it's not easy to determine how different this year's theme will be. The the previous year's themes slightly modified to reflect the diverse features, or discover new styles altogether. However, it's not possible to predict with certainty.

Certain Madden fans have already voiced anger that EA are focusing their efforts at cross-over content, rather than fixing other issues related to the game. This crossover won't change the problems that players have to face with Madden NFL 22, but hopefully it will prove to be a fun change of pace, regardless! Nickelodeon and the NFL have made a variety of efforts to get children interested in the game of football. And this could be another avenue to open for younger fans.

I mostly focus on video games, but sometimes I do a bit of sports when sports and video games cross paths. It usually happens around Super Bowl season, when EA Sports releases the yearly Madden NFL prediction for the winner of the big game.

The first year I covered this, it was quite a wild experience because the game predicted not just the winner, but also the exact scoring of the contest. The game was quite wild!

Unfortunately, since then , the video game's predictions have been more volatile and miss. You can scroll down to the at the bottom of this page to view each prediction incorrect or right, but the reputation of the game as being super precise has diminished in recent times.
