Beverly Hills, CA, Mar 30, 2016 -- Trax Records is releasing two new official remixes of Todd Terry & Screamin' Rachael's smash collaboration "Spirits Rising" by Boyfriend, and Emskee. Emskee is NYC hip-hop royalty who has worked with an extensive range of people including Grammy nominated Easy Mo Bee.

Emskee was inspired by the hip-house sound fostered by Rachael and Afrika Bambaataa and infused it with Boyfriend's original Moombahton remix. A torchbearer of Moombahton,Boyfriend (Vilnius, Lithuania) has created an incredible remix that repainted,repurposed and blew the original mix of Todd Terry and Screamin' Rachael's hit into completely different territory. Boyfriend's work varies from working with people such as Zebra Katz and Daniel Haaksman. He has been released on projects with T&A Recordings, Man Recordings, Discobelle, Mad Decent, and more.

Along with both remixes, Trax Records is providing the stems and acapellas as an invitation for you to play along and create your own remix. We will be hosting a remix contest and the winners will be announced in June at the international Music Festival "Midem" in Cannes, France. The winner(s) will be announced and released on Trax Records.
