My First Best Cousin Friend is a great conversation starter with children to discuss the dynamics of various kinds of relationships with family, friends, and others with a beautifully illustrated children’s book. Main characters Khay-La-La Bookie and Gabby-Goo help move the conversation along in a safe space where children will feel comfortable talking out their feelings. Cousins aren’t biologically siblings, yet their relationship with each other can be just as close as if they were. Neither Khay- La-La Bookie and Gabby-Goo have siblings but as you follow their story readers will see how close and important their bond is to each other. This is what makes My First Best Cousin Friend is so heart warming!
