The head of the product Joe Wilson when addressing the media said "We’re very excited to offer Touch GIS on the GEOINT App Store. Touch GIS is useful for a wide variety of field use and offers best-in-class data collection, mapping, and visualization tools. The app is especially helpful when working offline. The best part? It runs on the device that’s already in your pocket!”

The mapping app offers specialist-rank field data gathering and visualization. The intuitive interface, pre-loaded with feature class templates, custom feature classes, customizable attribute forms, robust file support, map caching, offline capabilities and ability to collect point, polygon and line features makes this app extremely powerful.

The app supports GPX, GeoJSON, KML/KMZ and Shapefiles.
