3/08/2023: Youth With a Future is an organization working towards building a better future for the youth in urban communities. The organization is a division of the Transformational Leadership Forum, which has been providing leadership training for people in low-income urban communities since 2011.
Youth With a Future believes that young people in urban communities need to evolve with the rest of the world in order to build a better place for themselves in the future. The organization also thinks holding on to basic human values, such as compassion for others, is key to life satisfaction and success. This is why the eight core values of Youth With a Future are chosen to inspire youth to become successful leaders and better people.
In an interview, a Youth With a Future representative said, "We think being passionate, having a vision, and the ability to inspire passion for achieving one's vision are keys to true leadership. Only such powerful leaders can bring about much-needed transformational change in these communities. However, a capable leader must also have equally honorable values, so their efforts are for the good of the community."
The representative further said, "This is why we give values such as integrity, good stewardship, and prioritizing the family, equal priority as skills needed for leadership. We want to prepare leaders who are capable of bringing about change and inspired in their hearts to do so."
