The Iron Galaxy project record may or may not affirm the occurrence of a Switch port, but there have been several different indications that Fortnite is headed to the Nintendo console. Only last month a Twitter poster named LeakyPandy revealed the Nintendo Switch variant of Fortnite will incorporate some exclusive content related to Nintendo IPs. One of the leaked details concerning the Change port of the sport, LeakyPandy also confirmed that the Switch version of Fortnite Battle Royale will not be far more different to the version on PC and other consoles.

There has also been vocal support for a Nintendo Switch version of Fortnite, with Chance that the Rapper calling to get a port of the game. Epic Games has also dealt with these requests, saying that it will "hopefully" launch its massively popular game on the Nintendo games console "at some point."

With the leaks about the Switch version of the game continuing to mount, fans will be wondering if Nintendo and Epic Games will raise the lid themselves, officially announcing the game. An announcement could come in E3 2018, in which Nintendo is utilized to create several significant announcements and show off some of its most significant names (like Super Smash Bros.) Fortnite could potentially be part of these statements.
