Creating the Perfect Facebook Ad by using Facebook Ads Library

Using the Facebook Ads Library can be super helpful when you're first starting with Facebook Ads, or even when you've been doing them for a while and just want to refine your strategy. However, there are several different ways you can use the library, so it's essential to understand what they are to get the most out of it! Below, we'll go over the Facebook Ads Library and how to create an ad from it. Let's get started!

Create an account

Creating an account with Facebook allows you to use their ad-targeting library, and it only takes a few seconds.

1.) Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the page on Facebook
2.) Select Account
3.) Create an Ad.

Follow along with their guides to set up your first campaign.

You'll need a business profile that's at least 90 days old before you can get started, but after that, you'll be able to import any existing audiences or create new ones based on a contact list from your email account.

Create a campaign

Now that you've learned how to use Ad Manager, it's time to create a campaign!

The first step is building an ad set. An ad set is a group of ads with a similar goal.

For example, you might create one ad set for mobile devices and another for desktop users.

To get started,

1.) Click Create Ad Set in the top menu and choose where you want your ads to appear.
2.) Add your image and text using Visual Editor or HTML if you prefer.

Add an objective

Adding an objective is important because it's how you tell people what you want them to do when they land on your ad, link, or story.

For an ad campaign to be successful, people need to know what you want them to do and how you want them to do it. Your call-to-action can take many forms.

Learn About the Audience Targeting Options

The Facebook ads library provides a ton of audience targeting options. You can sort your desired audience into different groups based on factors like:

1.) Language
2.) Location
3.) Education level

Once you find your niche group, you'll want to use them for future campaigns so you can continue to reach out to people who have already expressed interest in what you're offering.

Set Your Bidding and Budget

If you're unsure where to start, you can use some of Facebook's tools. The first thing is setting your bidding and budget, which can be changed at any time during a campaign.

Bidding refers to how much you want your ad to cost per click and is broken into two components:

1.) Cost per thousand impressions (CPM)
2.) Conversion optimization bids (COC)
3.) CPM is how much it costs for every 1,000 times your ads are shown on Facebook.
4.) COC considers how many people will take action based on seeing your ad, like purchasing something or clicking through it.

Wrap It

If you're trying to improve your ad creatives, boost your conversion rates, and nail down your copy, the Ad Library is a beautiful place to start.
