July 26, 2024 – McCordsville, IN – The University of McCordsville is thrilled to announce the launch of two exciting new programs designed to enhance the student experience and foster a vibrant campus community: the Outdoor Adventure and Recreation Program and the Arts and Culture Series. These initiatives reflect the university’s commitment to providing a well-rounded education that supports both physical well-being and cultural enrichment.
Outdoor Adventure and Recreation Program
The Outdoor Adventure and Recreation Program is designed to promote physical activity and a love for the outdoors among students. The program offers a variety of activities, including hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, and camping trips. These experiences are aimed at building leadership skills, encouraging teamwork, and providing students with a healthy balance to their academic life.

Arts and Culture Series
Complementing the Outdoor Adventure and Recreation Program is the new Arts and Culture Series, which aims to enrich the cultural landscape of the University of McCordsville. This series will feature performances, exhibitions, and workshops from local and international artists, offering students numerous opportunities to engage with the arts.
The program includes concerts, theater productions, art exhibits, and guest lectures, fostering a vibrant cultural community on campus. "Our Arts and Culture Series is designed to inspire creativity and broaden the cultural horizons of our students," said Thompson. "We are committed to providing a diverse range of cultural experiences that will enhance our students' educational journey."
