How to The Strength of a 100% Polyester Plush Fabric on the Force Perpendicular to its Axis

100% polyester plush fabric for toys and 100% polyester plush fabric for clothing are made of 100% polyester plush fabric, which is very suitable for comfortable clothes and plush animal toys.

100% Polyester Plush Fabric (ROUROUROU) will decrease with the transverse force of the yarns and consequently with the increasing crimp. Thus, the crimp cannot be made arbitrarily high. Once more, one has to balance between two effects, and the weaver must find the optimum solution. Now, if the strength of the fabric will be high, the yarn density must be high. If only one yarn is crossing the perpendicular one, this requirement leads to a high crimp and, consequently, to high contact forces in the knot and a high loss of strength, as explained above. To avoid this effect one may apply a panama weave where two yarns cross two perpendicular ones. Then the contact forces are reduced, and the loss of strength due to contact forces is decreasing.

Having in mind these considerations, it is clear that weave types like satin or atlas weave lead to a low seam strength and are, therefore, not used in textile architecture. Woven fabrics are characterized by their type of weave, their weight, the number of yarns per length in both directions, the weave pattern, the crimp of the yarns, a cover factor/porosity and their mechanical and physical properties.

Using other weave types than discussed in textile architecture is in most cases prohibited by their mechanical behaviour. After weaving, a special finish is applied to increase the chemical and physical compatibilities between the fabric and the coating. This improves, on the one hand, the wetability of the fibres during the coating process and, on the other hand, the adhesion between fabric and coating.
