The Artificer’s Workshop finally hits on Neverwinter. It is the best luck to obtain the beholder tank, but there is still something to remember:
First, be careful for the noxious gas. Split up and run around looking for 10 switches on the wall to flip. At 70 with decent gear, the mobs die in 1-2 hits, so don’t worry about that. But you had better keep your character on a min lvl of 14.
Second, Rendezvouz with Flabbergast. Meet up at the blue dot. Talk to Flabbergast and then go knockout the little midget things you saw walking around before. When you hit X you can still move after to stay with in range.
Last, meet up at the Beholder. This spawns the boss with 3 adds. The boss is immune to start with its shield. If your put into combat right away, kill the adds, and then look on the tables around the beholder for green gems. Grab a gem and put it on one of the four sparkly pedestals around the beholder. When each pedestal has a gem, the boss's shield comes down and can be damaged. When 33% of its life is gone, the shield comes back up and you just rinse and repeat.
When the boss dies, you can go up to the beholder and press A on it to collect your chest.
