Leading AFM manufacturer offers $1 million in grants

The team at Park Systems is not only one of the most outstanding manufacturers of AFM globally, but they also share their success by putting money back into the industry with their Park Nano Grant. The grant is open to all researchers in laboratories in North America. It is just one way how the team of industry experts pave the way for researchers to continue their work in the field.

“The Park Nano Grant is to the value of $1 million and we divide this into 20 grants valued at $50,000 to each successful applicant. Any professor at a national research university or a national laboratory that is located in North America is welcome to apply. Alternatively, we also accept applications from those who want to set up a new nanoscience lab and wants to buy a Park AFM. If you are eligible according to these specifications, we would like you to reach out and get your grant application in,” says Kiebock Lee, the president of the leading name in atomic force microscopy.

Lee then urges all applicants to get their applications in as early as possible for there are only a limited number of grants available. Park Systems supply their advanced equipment into a range of fields. These fields include life sciences, material sciences, nanotechnology and electronics and applicants can be from any of these fields.
“We are committed to bringing only the most sophisticated equipment with ultra-high resolution. This enables researchers to enjoy accuracy in their research and to have greater clarity on what they can achieve with our equipment. It is this same commitment that is the driving force behind allocating the grant and in this way support research and to push researchers forward to even greater advances in their field,” Lee continued.
Park Systems opened its doors in 1997, but its commitment to the field of nano-research started long before. This is a story of success that dates back to 1982 when the founder of the international leader, Dr Park was part of the team at the centre of the development of the first atomic force microscope at Stanford University. Since then, every achievement this team enjoys is one that was driven by the desire for creative genius, the same desire that Dr Park’s work reflects.

“When you want to be a true leader in your field, it is about far more than selling solutions. It is also about utilizing every opportunity to help the field expand and be more successful, it is why we offer this grant” Lee said.

About Us :

Park Systems is one of the leaders in the field when it comes to atomic force microscopes. The amount of time and funding our elite team puts into research and development is ensuring that our range of advanced solutions are remaining at the edge. Our developments are often the main characters to drive growth in the field forward as our experts continue to set new benchmarks in the field. Our mission is to maintain the same outstanding results as that what our founder delivered when he was part of the team central to the development of the initial AFM.
