The Marshals Group PLC has just completed the purchase of one of the world’s leading suppliers of armed guards at sea, maritime security specialist SeaMarshals Risk Management Ltd based in the UK, as part of their strategy to become a world leading supplier of security solutions in complex environments.

SeaMarshals Risk Management Ltd (“SeaMarshals”) is one of the oldest established maritime security providers in the industry with an excellent track record of developing market leading solutions for protecting ships against the threat of piracy mainly off Somalia.

SeaMarshals currently employees around 150 people in their headquarters and in the field as security operators and is a fully ISO28007 compliant business.

Mr. Joakim Jacobsson, Chief Business Developer from The Marshals Group PLC says, “We are delighted to have secured this valuable asset and it forms a perfect piece in the puzzle in building up a company specialising in security solutions in very complex environments.
