New York, NY - Nationally syndicated talk show host Frank MacKay recently interviewed Ursula Ingolfsson, the Executive Director of the famed Leopold Mozart Academy in Pennsylvania. The school, with branches in Elkins Park and Morrisville, is made up of musically gifted children, including some with special needs. The prestigious school’s Musicianship Classes are based on a five-year curriculum that includes music theory fundamentals and solfeggio skill-building exercises.

The Director of the school is Ursula Ingolfsson-Fassbind, the daughter of renowned writer and poet Franz Fassbind. She was born in Switzerland, and moved to the United States in 1980. She has taught at the Konservatorium and Musikhochschule Zurich, and at the Music College in Reykjavik, Iceland. She also gave master classes in Germany and the United States, and in 2001 founded the prestigious Leopold Mozart Academy.
