Ninety two percent of urban areas in the United States has seen people moving from the city to suburban areas in the past year. This has seen a rise in demand with Americans relocating to New Mexico, Maine and Idaho, while New York, Connecticut and Illinois are seeing people leaving due to their dense populations. People of all ages and backgrounds are looking at moving this year, professionals, families and retirees are moving with the majority of younger adults moving south. Ten percent of singles, young adults and young professionals had already moved in 2020.
