Accell Group N.V (Netherlands) is one of the leading players in the E-Bike market. The company manufactures mid and high segment bicycles. It has two business segments, namely, bicycles and parts & accessories. It has a strong presence in Europe and North America. It operates through four manufacturing locations and 14 subsidiaries across Europe and North America. Accell Group strengthened its position in the urban mobility market by acquiring 100% equity of (E-) Cargo bike specialist Velosophy B.V.Through this acquisition, the Accell Group accelerated its innovative strategy of development of urban mobility solutions.

Giant Manufacturing Co. Ltd (Taiwan) manufactures race bicycles, urban bicycles, mountain bicycles, folding bicycles, touring bicycles, sports bicycles, bicycles for women and children, and electric bicycles. It operates through three manufacturing locations in Taiwan, Netherlands, and China. The company has a strong global network in all major geographical locations. It owns three in-house brands, namely Giant, Liv, and Momentum, and supports other OEMs such as Trek, Scott, and Colnago in manufacturing e-bikes. The company announced a plan to invest USD15.7 million in establishing a new European distribution center in the Netherlands to provide distribution, storage, and after-sales services to the pan-European markets. The investment is expected to be especially well-suited to support the fast-growing demand for e-bikes.

Yadea Group Holding Ltd (China) manufactures electric scooters, electric bicycles, batteries, and motors. It has manufacturing locations in Wuxi, Tianjin, Zhejiang, and Guangdong with an annual production capacity of more than 6,000,000 bicycles. It operates through more than 1,700 distributors in more than 50 countries across the globe. The company introduced 47 new models of electric bicycles in the Chinese market. It partnered with Gi FlyBike to produce an innovative smart bike in China and to make the complex design of the FlyBike a reality.

Specialized Bicycle Components Inc. (US)is a manufacturer of bicycles and its components. It manufactures both conventional and electric bicycles. It offers bicycles in categories such as mountain bikes, road bikes, transport bikes, fitness bikes, path & gravel bikes, and kids’ bikes. The company entered into a contract with Singapore Post (SingPost) for a logistics and warehouse facility. The facility is expected to handle warehousing and sea freight for specialized bicycles and equipment, and last-mile deliveries and returns from Singapore and Malaysia. It opened four new facilities, an E-bike innovation center in Switzerland, a new headquarters for its Retul division in Colorado, a testing and development center in Taiwan, and a new R&D lab in California.
