• What color is your urine? - This may seem like an odd question, but if your urine is dark you are not getting enough water. Having enough water in your system will turn your urine lighter, almost clear and you will need to go more frequently.

• How do you feel? - One of the first signs of mild dehydration is fatigue. If you are tired it might not be that you need more sleep, but that you need more water!

Water is a great diet aid. Not only does it work to keep the body regulated internally, but also promotes weight loss by flushing fat from the body. Drinking water also makes a dieter feel fuller and more satiated so that they eat less food. If you are dieting, be sure to add water to your daily menu plan - its essential for optimal results.

Not a fan of H20? Add any of the low calorie/no calorie drink mixes to a bottle of the clear stuff for a tasty and refreshing treat that is usually less than five calories. When you consider that an average soda has around 170 calories, water is a good "deal" for the dieter.
