Appoints Chef Murph to Board of Directors

TOUCH New Jersey, Inc. 501C3 is making huge gains in its mission of challenging hunger, enabled as food recovery agent empowered by Philabundance. We are proud to announce the newest appointment to our Board of Directors, Chef K.T. Murphy popularly known as Chef Murph, from Washington TWP, New Jersey. He regularly cooking at homeless shelters, soup kitchens and missions around the country like St. Paul Church, Camden, NJ., Buffalo City Mission in Buffalo, NY, Josephs House Camden, Veterans Multi-Service Centers, and Nationwide homeless shelters and veterans benefits. He is found on FoodyTV, where he was just given his own show Murph’s American Kitchen.

Chef Murph’s objective in life is feeding needy people. His motto is that “Good Food, makes for better decisions” Feels that the act of cooking of food helps people to realize they have a lot in common. Bring people and culture to the table to talk where problems can be solved. His style of cooking he calls Global Fusion Americana. He has over 30 free cook books and is Founder of Humans for People Foundation, whose goal is to attempt to save food that is about to be discarded giving it another life. TOUCH New Jersey, Inc. is a food outreach operating a pantry at. The all-volunteer non-profit currently feeds over 250-400 families per week when it opens its doors every Wednesday from 9 Am until 2 Pm.
