Twinwood is a vintage dance music festival held every August. This year, it will be from the 24th to the 27th of the month of dance music festivals in the UK.

Each year, we strive to put together a show better than the last, and do we have a tough act to follow! We are excited to announce that last year’s festival was such a success that glamping and camping tickets for 2018 sold out in weeks.

The line up this year is going to be better than ever. We have searched high and low to bring you vintage musicians that will have you on the various dance floors all night long. Bring comfortable shoes as well as your party shoes, and perhaps a first-aid kit for your feet.

When it comes to dance music festivals, UK musicians usually travel around Europe taking their sounds to outdoor, indoor, 1 day or even 7 day festivals. What they will be doing this summer is coming to Twinwood, either to play, or to dance. Apart from the music, there will be a vintage market, salons, al fresco tables, and more vintage charm in abundance. Dressing up is optional, but a lot of fun. Don’t forget to keep a look out for the stars of the pageant, Mr + Miss Vintage UK.

Take a look at the line up so far: 36 acts have been booked for Friday night alone, with more acts yet to be announced. Newer performers, and repeat performances at other times accommodate all attending the dance music festival’s UK celebration of vintage style. The Fabulous Hurricanes, Kai Hoffman + Her Kombo, Lola Lamour, among others will be on the festival’s stages. Remember to check the official page to see when more acts are announced.

Annie Wooding, the Creative Director of Twinwood added, “we promised last year that we would somehow make the best line up better, and it’s all falling into place for our festival in August 2018. We look forward to seeing you all there to enjoy vintage dance, music and fashion”.

The venues speak of the creativity gone into planning the event. Moonshine Glade, the dance floor for country, folk, and bluegrass. Le Mondé Electrique, an outdoor dance floor, and the Control Tower stage will be busy while the main arenas get filled too. The festival organisers have gone all out to make it the best dance music festival UK fans have ever seen.
